About Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt

Harville Hendrix, together with his wife, Helen LaKelly Hunt, are the co-creators of Imago Relationship Therapy and the concepts of conscious partnership and conscious parenting. They are the authors of nine books about intimate relationships and parenting, three of which have been New York Times Best Sellers, including “Getting the Love You Want – A Guide for Couples”. They are also the parents of a blended family of six adult children, including two from their own marriage.

Together, they co-founded Imago Relationships International (IRI), an international non-profit organization that offers training, support and promotion of the work of over 2000 Imago therapists in 30 countries. In addition, over 160 Certified Imago Presenters offer workshops and seminars for couples and individuals that help thousands world-wide every year. Its mission is to transform the world, one relationship at a time and create a new model for relationships.

Harville holds a PhD in Psychology and Theology from the University of Chicago and has received an honorary doctorate and two distinguished service awards. He is internationally acclaimed as a public speaker, clinician and educator. Relationship Counsellors and Workshop Presenters who have trained through the Imago International Institute practice in more than thirty countries around the world. Hendrix’ passion is in helping couples restore connection, believing that if children can grow up in a loving peaceful home we can move more towards a conscious and peaceful world.

Harville Hendrix is a man of intellect, humanity and wisdom. He is also practical and pragmatic, and will share ways in which relationships can profoundly change. Through new understandings and consciously making different choices, he teaches how couples can engage in empathic dialogue, restore connection, grow into differentiation and renew passion and aliveness.

Helen LaKelly Hunt

Helen LaKelly Hunt, PhD was elected to the Women’s Hall of Fame for her dedication to the empowerment of women as an author and activist. She is founder of a number of philanthropic foundations, including The Sister Fund, a small, private foundation and of Women Moving Millions, both of which support fullness of life for women and girls. She is co-founder of Imago Relationships International and co-author, with Harville Hendrix, of nine books, including three New York Times Best Sellers. Her most recent title is Faith and Feminism: A Holy Alliance. The book is a poignant and intimate look at five extraordinary spiritual women who combined their undying faith and feminist beliefs to make an everlasting difference in the world.
